New Demo Images Import Option
We’ve added a small but mighty option for you all. Now when you import a skin, also known as a demo site, there will be an option available to import all of the images as well. In the previous version, all demo images were replaced with a placeholder image due to concerns about image copyrights. However, one of our designers lovingly combed through each and every theme, ensuring each image would be available for our users.
Now, when you import a demo, you can click the checkbox 'Include all demo images', and you will have an identical site, complete with all of the free stock images we’ve chosen. Don't forget to update your themes to the latest version to take advantage of this awesome option.

Hi, use the Classic Editor plugin or make a child theme and insert the code: “add_filter( ‘use_block_editor_for_post’, ‘__return_false’ );”…and you’ll have (and I have) always the classic.

Very strange place to ask; has nothing to do with your Themify themes, let alone this picture import option…
But install/activate classic editor and you’ll be fine.

Does this mean they are safe to use on our or client sites according to the license?

Hello Chris, Most of our demo photos are from free stock photo sites, but each image does have their own specific license. For best practices, we recommend that you use the demo images as a placeholder for yourself to find images which have licenses that you are 100% comfortable using.
