About Me

I am Nicki Lloyd, and I run Mara Communications, a website design and consultancy business based in Melbourne, Australia. I am also co-director of Hub Business Solutions, which provides an online marketing and communications portal for local businesses.

Mara Communications was founded in December of 2014 as a web design company. My professional background was in print management for several large companies. After a largely corporate career, as a full-time mum, I made the decision to not return to it. Without a technology or design background, I dabbled in newsletter and website editing for a local community playgroup. This was my first taste of website design.

This month’s Customer Story features a branding and designing studio called LICKERISH. One look at their website and you’ll get the idea. Their goal is to make your work stand out in style. About Us

We are a Brand Strategy & Design studio named LICKERISH. LICKERISH was founded by Dovile Sidlauskaite, who has a Graphic Design and Arts background, and Martynas Kudarauskas who brings his expertise in Marketing and Business Growth. For about 5 years now, our designs have been helping brands and businesses to create impactful connections with their audiences.

And now more recently, we have been developing customer experiences in the digital space. During this shift, we explored numerous options for website development and we are very glad to have found Themify.

My name is Lee Pears. Yep, you guessed it, pears like the fruit. ‘Pears like the fruit’ is actually my Instagram handle because of the amount of times I’ve had to say it so that people would get the spelling right – I at least thought it was about time it paid its dues.

About Me

My name is Kart Lester Balangue, I currently run my own digital marketing agency with the goal to help businesses grow and eventually be the authority in their field. Hence the name, Eminence Digital Media.

Originally, I started doing web design in school when one of our main assignments was to design a recycling website. Back then I had a little bit of CSS and html knowledge due to an old social media platform that allowed you to customise every aspect of your personal page, which I spent plenty of time doing. I enjoyed designing and building that recycling website and it ended up being one of the best websites in my class.

My name is Brett Hallonquist and I live in Seattle, Washington. For the past two years, I’ve been the Creative Director at the largest regional real estate company in the western U.S., Windermere Real Estate, tasked with overhauling their entire brand and collateral top to bottom. Prior to Windermere I ran my own successful graphic design business, Atomic Design Lab, for nearly 20 years.
