For this customer story meet Matteo Corradini, an Italian children's book writer, who shared with us how he was able to connect his creativity from paper to web design with the help of Themify. Read his story, and see how he was able to do this.

Hi! My name is Matteo Corradini and I’m an Italian children's book writer, and a web designer. When I first started writing, my only tools were a pen and a paper. And even today, I still rely on them to write my stories. However, in today's time and age, I realized that for me to be able to share my work, books, or even workshops that I've done with kids, I needed to create an online platform for it to be accessible. With the help of Themify, I was able to do this. Themify provided a platform that's very easy to use, but at the same time, gave me the flexibility I needed to create amazing layout designs. This inspired me to continue to learn more about web design, which inevitably led me to become a web designer. Being a writer and a web desinger worked hand-in-hand, as I was able to create both the content and graphic needed for my own personal, and client sites. I was able to take on different types of projects such as site designs for institutions and museums. Themify made me realize that I didn't need a platform that gave me 10,000 themes, but rather, a few unique and special ones could go a long way.

About Me - Jordan Bower

My name is Jordan Bower, and I am a Digital Storyteller based in Victoria, BC. In my work, I help businesses, individuals and organizations translate their messages into emotionally rich stories that will connect with online audiences. I create visual identities, design websites, lead workshops and facilitate communications training; I am a full-service digital communications advisor. In my creative life, I am on the verge of launching an innovative storytelling project about my 3,000 kilometre walking trip from Canada to Mexico.

Hi! My name is Bartek Stepniewski and my business is called TREJKA.pl. You can call me a family freelancer, as my wife and two kids play a big role with my business. My wife, especially, became a major contributor in the daily operations of the business, as well as, in lending her skills in desing. TREJKA.pl specializes in blogging, construction and management of blogs, parties, and online shops, where we use WordPress and CS-Cart.

My name is Megan Elliott and I am the web designer behind Lush Design Shop. As a blogger, I saw a major need for affordable blog design. There are tons of themes available, but who wants a carbon copy that anyone else can have? Most custom designers charge well over $5,000 for a blog design. I knew I wasn't the only one who noticed this gap in the market. So I decided to step into that niche of affordable, yet professional blog design.

Creators of the popular game Mousehunt, HitGrab Inc., shared to us how they were able to redesign their site with a tight deadline with Themify. Using the Parallax theme and Themify Builder, they transformed their site into an one-page design which enables them to showcase their games, as well as, the company profile. HitGrab Inc. is a gaming company that build games on both social and mobile platforms. They were awarded by Facebook a grant of $250,000, out of the thousands of social application companies. Their leading game, MouseHunt, spearheads their charge in becoming one of the top gaming companies by claiming the title of being the first iOS game with over 3 million downloads in 2012. Aside from their success with their games, HitGrab has developed a corporate culture that's fun, exciting, and "a little weird". Their weird attribute is directly correlated to their deep bond with their players and the way they interact with them through social media. With their Mousehunt Facebook page reaching over 400,000 Likes, HitGrab Inc. has created an active and engaged community. Now they want to translate this corporate culture and success they've amassed over the years onto their company website. This led them to begin their own hunt to redesign their site.

For our fourth Customer Stories series we chose to cover an Italian web designer, Davide Furlotti.  He shares how he was able to use Themify to design many great WordPress sites to further expand his freelance business. Through Themify's wide range of themes, Davide was also able to broaden its scope of clients, catering to various business types, such as mobile apps, auto mechanic, restaurants, and many others. He has successfully utilized Themify to fully captivate and engage online visitors, capturing their attention every time they visit his sites.

Hello. My name is Davide, an Italian freelancer. I’ve been doing web design for more than six years, but generally, under communication and color plus for fifteen years. The main idea of my business is creating dynamic logos and websites, and this is primarily because of my love for content marketing and optimizing landing pages. Now, with the experience that I've acquired over the years, I'm looking into expanding my skills and start to promote products made entirely by myself.
