Changes Coming to Pricing Structure

The Themify team continues to be incredibly busy this year, more busy than ever in fact. We recently released our fantastic new theme called Fullpane and it has proven to be an incredible success with our existing and new customers alike. We couldn’t be more thrilled about this.

Our Themify Builder, which gives you the power to create and design your own layout by using drag and drop controls, continues to grow as we release new features with every Themify Framework update. We’ve listened to your feedback and we welcome it, so please keep sending it in.

We are very proud of what we release and we continue to work very hard bringing you more new themes, features and plugins to make it easier for you to build beautiful WordPress websites. Just look at the Themify Showcase to see what our customers are building.

To continue and maintain this level service and quality, Themify has made the business decision to increase prices as of March 1, 2014. It’s never nice when there is a price increase, but it means we can keep making all the things you’ve enjoy about Themify even better.

From March 1, 2014, the new pricing will be:

  • Standard Themes = $49
  • Developer Themes = $69
  • Standard Club = $79
  • Developer Club = $99
  • Builder Plugin = $49

We feel this is a reasonable and fair price increase as this allows us to procure more resources to continually release new themes and products as well as giving first class service.

One service Themify customers enjoy is our support. We strive to give the best support that we can, given the resources available. We are pleased to announce that we are extending our Monday to Friday support hours, in addition weekend support!

Our price increase gives us the resources needed for our incredible developers to add features and functions to our products with more frequency, like in our recent Framework 1.6.8 update. If there is a feature that you want us to include in an update, let us know either on the Forums or via contact us.

Themify is committed in bringing you beautifully designed themes and products, superb support, fantastic customer service and great value for money. If you have any concerns or questions around the price increase, please don’t hesitate to contact us or comment on this post below.

      Hello Barnabas,
Nothing will happen to our existing customers until it comes time to renew their membership. If the renew date is post March 1, 2014, their will be charged at the new price.

      Thank you for your question.

But your response does not address whether or not we would still have access to the themes as they are prior to the increase. If I had downloaded the themes prior to the increase (being part of your club) then I would still own that theme. After the increase the themes that we had access to are gone. So if you are relying on your panel to have access to the themes that you own then you are screwed because themify takes those themes away even though you paid for them and they are yours.

    I love themify.me!
I wanted to sing it from a mountain top, but I didn’t have one; I had a blog and a comment box.

Ok really… I don’t to pay more. But you all deserve the raise.

I’ve built my web business with your amazing themes and fantastic support.

I do politely request that current Developers get grandfathered into existing pricing. Bill me annually at today’s price!

      Hello Chris,
Unfortunately we can’t. The price increase is necessary for the sustainability of our business and services.

Thank you for your comment about Themify, we are glad you love us.

Good to know. However, your theme customization is kinda steep, I’d have love you to blog about how members can customize the theme using simple css tricks and also create a site like the demo. For instance, before you introduce row styling, I always love the header/slider region to have specific color but your framework can’t offer customizing the slider background yet and its sad. Also there’s something about that row styling…in all these, I still duff my hat for your framework! Kudos.

Your themes are worth every penny and then some! I have used Themify themes for many projects over the years and have never been disappointed. You customer service is top notch and your themes are cutting edge, user friendly and great looking.

Personally, I think that a small price increase to give your devs more freedom to add extra functions and features to the themes we all love and use is a good thing. It will further improve the themes which in turn improves our experience in developing them.

Themify Themes make WordPress the best it can be in my opinion, so keep up the good work.

I’m a Developer Club subscriber for going on 2 years now. When it comes time to renew my membership I will gladly pay the price increase. It’s not an unreasonable price hike and the products/support are great.

Since you asked for suggestions about future additions to your products I would like to suggest shortcodes, shortcodes, and more shortcodes! Pricing tables, drop caps, pull quotes, and more. I’ve noticed some developers offering shortcode plugins as a separate purchase and would certainly be willing to pay extra for a Themify.me shortcode plugin that really went above and beyond the shortcodes you already have available.

This shouldn’t be taken as a complaint about the shortcodes you already offer, as I love them as well. If I do need other shortcodes, I don’t mind buying from other sellers. But, I’d like the security and quality of having my themes and plugins from one developer.

Thanks for taking the time to read,
    Dominic

Are the club prices monthly payments? Also, would you be interested in adding some Themify themes to this post? (http://www.ventureharbour.com/premium-responsive-wordpress-themes/) I’ve just had a look at some of the themes you offer and they look really impressive. I’d be happy to chat if it’d be of interest?

No doubt themify makes the best themes, If any one is doubting about themify’s themes quality, check their clients, for example professional blogger, Amit agarwal uses themify for all of his blogs, themify is really awesome and bit on the bargain side compared to their compitetors.
