Video Tutorial Recorder Eligibility:

  • English fluency, clear and professional voice required
  • Intermediate WordPress knowledge and experience required
  • Experience with Themify themes and products would be preferred – but if you’re technically savvy, we’re sure you can pick it up in no time
  • Prior YouTube experience not necessary
  • Own a good quality microphone and a speedy computer that won’t lag while you do screen recordings
  • Along with your application, submit a screen recording with your voice-over or any previous samples you’ve recorded as you perform some technical site building using any WordPress platform

All eligible candidates can submit your application, with some sample recordings (or links to them) to: [email protected]

One thing is so beautiful about the Internet is when you combine the awesome power of blogging and adding links to blog posts in the header description of YouTube videos to drive traffic. I love you too because it’s an immediate way to attract eyeballs and sales as well as improve search engine optimization on the fly. :-)

    What is the pay rate?

At the moment, we don’t have just one answer as the pay rate will depend on a variety of elements. We will take into consideration a candidate’s qualifications, their expertise, and will offer a rate competitive to the industry. It is, however, a project-based position and not full time.

      Chicago Bob,

You never ask the pay rate ahead of time before interviewing. That’s like putting the carriage before the horse!

Nonsense. It’s perfectly reasonable to ask how much is going to be paid (or at least a remuneration range) for a particular task or activity.

I am stuck with just started Youtube Channel. Spending more time on it. I am going to work some time out of my current project in couple of weeks and apply for it. I hope there is a slot for me.

    @DNN, Well said :)

I sent my resume in, as I used to do a WordPress in an Hour Crash Course. I still need to send a recording. Does it need to be a video or can it just be audio? I want to make sure I am sending in what you want so I have a chance. Please reply at your earliest convenience.

It would need to be a screen recording using a WordPress platform (you will eventually be using Themify’s platform for our tutorials however) and include a voice over showing instructing the viewer what and how you are creating.

We are just looking for whatever you are able to create on your own for now. This would preferably be a screen recording using a WordPress platform (you will eventually be using Themify’s platform for our tutorials however) and include a voice over showing instructing the viewer what and how you are creating.

I submitted my application the other day. I’m very interested in learning more about this and what kind of posting schedule you’d have in mind!

It is, a project-based position so we’re focused more on high quality, thorough, and all-inclusive videos, rather than frequency or scheduling.
