Quick question, does the theme have the ability for users to login to their account and create “pins” and “boards” just like Pinterest does? I couldn’t tell immediately if it has that functionality.

No, it doesn’t allow user submission at the moment. We are considering to add this feature.

I second the user registration/submission request. I really love this theme, but user generated content is key for my use. Do you know if there are any plugins that might make this functionality possible? There is of course BP, but I’m not sure that would work because of the themes.

I use gravity forms for user submitted content. You can see it in action (or at least the submission form) at my website: releases.dearauthor.com. Click the “how to submit” menu item.

Does the theme have capability for handling advertising? It looks like it would be perfect for displaying ads between the posts on the main page and in place of the greeting banner. Any details on advertising functionality would be great. thanks.

The welcome message box can be used to display a horizontal banner ad. Perfect spot.

Looks good! Here are my pre-purchase questions:
Does the theme have an option not to display recent comments on the front page? Also, not to display author’s avatar?
Can I use menus on top to display drop downs of categories?

You can edit the template to exclude the comment on the front page and the author’s avatar.

Hi, just wana ask, does this work if you use it as a blog and some of your posts does not have images on them. Will it still work on posts with no pictures.
In addition, can I still have sidebars? Sorry for asking, I can’t load the demo at my end.

It works with or without featured image. The sidebar can be specified site-wide or per-post.

This is one of the best Pinterest themes out there! I’d love to see voting and views added to each post with widgets for the most viewed and most liked for the sidebar.

great theme ‘pinboard’ – can i change the color of the red top bar and bottom bar? Can i change the “pinboard” title with my blog name title? Do i need to buy the PSD files or the customization on colors is available? thks for your help
