Google Now Favors Mobile-Friendly Sites

It is official now, Google's latest formula favors websites that are defined as "mobile-friendly". If you don't want to lose your rank in mobile search, be sure your site design is mobile-friendly. If it is not, don't need to panic. We have a quick & affordable solution for you — simply switch to any Themify's responsive theme. We've been building responsive themes for many years. All our responsive themes pass the Google's Mobile-Friendly Test.

How to test if your site is mobile-friendly?

  1. Go to Mobile-Friendly Test
  2. Enter your site URL to analyze
  3. If you get "Awesome! This page is mobile-friendly.", it means your site passed!

Below are some of the reports of our responsive theme demos:

Notes:

  • If you see a message "There was a problem with the request. Please try again later.", click on the "Analyze" button to get the report (the tool might be busy).
  • We have only listed a few of examples above. You may use the Mobile-Friendly Test to test all our responsive theme demos.

Great post. I have a question though
Does it affect the rankings on mobile devices only or desktop as well?
    Thanks

It affects mobile search at the moment. But according to statistics, mobile usage is increasing, so eventually it will affect your search rank in general.

“…Google’s latest formula favors websites that are defined as “mobile-friendly…”

This is why I use Themify themes for my own personal website and in my client projects.

That is a the good decision of google, Peoples are usually surfing internet on mobiles and tablets, 60-70 % traffic is coming from mobile so if website will not be mobile friendly than they will provide bad user experience to mobile visitors.so my opinion is that every website owner should have a mobile friendly website so that it can provide a good experience to a mobile visitor,Google also showing mobile friendly label in SERP so can also lost your website traffic

    Hi,
first, I would like to thank you for a beautiful work you’re doing! You inspired me to make my on site by myself, without any previous knowledge about web designing. I am really satisfied with the result of my work. But there is one problem.
I have just tested my site and got the answer “Awesome!”, but when I look at it on my mobile there is a problem with font (croatian carracters) and some pictures. Few days ago everything was working fine. I’m using Ultra theme, and in last few days I installed Yoast seo plugin and AddToAny Share Buttons. I tried to deactivate them, but no change. Can you tell me what could be the problem?
