I’d love to see a skin that accommodates direct imbed video, direct imbed audio and blog capability. I run an entertainment website that has all three. My themify site is currently under development, so the one listed below is in a another builder.

A photography related ecommerce setup similar Zenfolio to sell prints and proof photos. The header needs 2 menus. A main navigation and one at the top of the page with ecommerce related links like my account, cart, etc… That would be awesome ;)

we can all use an minimalist business theme or a minimalist eCommerce one. One that can be easily adapted, with less complicated features. Thank you!
Also a theme for selling homes could be interesting.

Definitely a minimalist skin that one has complete control. If I wanted to duplicate the look and feel of Air BnB for a client, or if a client wanted her site to mimic Uber, the tools and freedom would be there to do that.

I’d like to see a “techno-skin” – one that features gadgets/equipment and their technical data using tabs (or fold-away sections). This could be for e-commerce use (i.e. a camera or hi-fi shop), or a parts catalog (for electric components maybe), or for anything requiring quite complex product data to be represented in a compact form.
Quite a challenge, but I know you guys can make it happen…. and make it sexy!

First: Great job with all the improvements and the new designs.
What I am missing is a newsletter blog – financial adviser blog – travel blog etc. style
with a more narrow slider or thumbnail slider on top with either small header or transparent,
then slider style below and
setup option below with column setting large for text/post and a narrow column for sidebar down for categories, latest news etc. and main area for posts in one main column scrolling down
the images – header can be changed by us for news, travel, financial etc. – and therefore one design can then easily be used for a multitude of that kind of news blog style
thanks

One thing I’ve been searching for and cannot find is niche directory themes/skins. While there are many directory themes out there they are all built around multiple categories. A simple, single (or minimal) category based directory and location theme/skin would be awesome.

I would like to see a “Local Business” Theme – with an area in the top header or nav section for an area to enter physical address and a large phone number (or adjustable parameters) and the ability to add or modify a contact form in the header (perhaps over the slider).. Information is too spread out:
Hi
These are great and will be of good use to me,
however they are all with lots of white space and large Post displays.
I would really like you to think about a skin with more compact posts built into the design.
Like bbc.co.uk , where a large number of posts are presented in a small amount of screen space, without any loss in readability or usability.
My clients keep asking me for this and I have added it to your suggestions,
but every new design you come up with spreads everything out so much.
Nice eye candy but too little information on a single screen.
A lot of UK news sites manage to pack in at least 4-6 posts in the space you set up for one.
This is especially noticeable on smartphones.
Thank you, Peter

How about an online dating layout? This is an evergreen niche, after all. Maybe with the ability to embed a sign up form in the homepage header and possibly have it integrate well with a social networking plugin like buddypress (for those adventurous enough to try building their own dating database from scratch).
Just a thought :)

E-commerce. I don’t know what “trendy” looks like for 2016 but I just had some tech support work done on my website and the the guy commented that my site with its tweaked Shopdock theme was “so five years ago” looking. Granted, I customized the theme myself and I still love it…but still, ecommerce is what people are doing these days so it might be nice to see where the look is going next.

Although it is not a theme skin idea …
I think it would be great if there could be multiple side bars that could be displayed by choice, kind of like the way in the magazine theme I can select different top menu for different posts.
Kadence themes allows to create/name multiple sidebar and then choose which one to display .
different categories to display different side bars.
Just a thought and a wish.
Thanks

It would be good if the music theme contained a player that could be inserted anywhere on the page instead of only at the bottom. Also if you could have multiple “Buy Album” link fields ie: audio CD, Download Digital album, Download album liner notes pdf or disable the “Buy album” field. Also perhaps be able to size-resize playlist height/width. Thanks
