Eva Soßnitza – Themify helped me with Multilingual

In the second post of our 'Customer Stories' series, Eva Soßnitza, a German fashion designer, shares with us how she created her websites in multiple languages thanks to Themify support.

Hello, I am Eva Soßnitza, founder of E.so.za, a fashion label for fascinators, headpieces, hats and bridal accessories. I am also a dressmaker and a self trained milliner but I rather look upon myself as a fibre artist as I use old and forgotten crafting techniques to make small and unique single pieces instead of large productions.

I am a one person entrepreneur so I design and craft all of my own products as well as take care of the business. My working day is filled with many different tasks, ranging from designing and developing new products, making them, taking professional pictures, writing product descriptions in multiple languages, marketing and distribution.

New Free Plugin: Conditional Menus

Two days ago, we've released the Announcement Bar plugin and introduced the new Master Club. Today we have an awesome freebie for you!

Please say hello to our first free plugin - Conditional Menus.

As the title says, Conditional Menus is a simple WordPress plugin which allows you to swap or disable the menus in the theme as per specific conditions. This means you can create different menus in different posts, pages, categories, archive pages, etc. It is super easy to use. You would create the menus as usual in WordPress Admin > Appearance > Menus, then add the menu conditions in Manage Locations tab, and the menus on the frontend will swap according to the specified conditions.

New Single-Click Demo Import Tool

We are happy to announce that all Themify themes are compatible with the latest WordPress 3.9. Along with the last update, we've built a very nice time saver feature for new Themify users. Setting up the theme has always been time consuming, and a bit of a challenge for new WordPress users. We've heard your feedback, and we've built the new demo import tool just for you!

single click import

Now you can easily import and erase demo content with a single click. All this can be done from directly within the Themify panel, so there's no file uploads or downloads necessary. It will add all the content needed to make your site look like our demo, including the Themify settings, widgets, front page setting, social links, custom menus, and posts/pages we use. You can then erase the demo content later which will remove the imported content and menus entirely, without deleting your existing posts or modified imported posts in case you want to keep them. Simple and easy!
