We made this list to highlight some of Themify's features that we've seen various users use to help them design their sites. And as we welcome the New Year, we've got plenty of new features lined up for you. But before we start rolling out these new features. We want to make sure that no one missed out on all the other successful features. So we decided to create a top 10 list of Themify features of 2014 that you need to know going into 2015.
We're very excited to release our newest Builder addon: Content Restriction - an addon that allows you to restrict module or row content based on the WordPress user roles. This addon allows you to restrict or view certain content on any module or row to different user roles on your site. It's designed for sites that would like to display private module or row content that is only available to specific users.
The Themify Affiliate Program has been wildly successful since its launch, helping Themify grow as a business and rewarding our supporters for promoting and selling our themes to brand new customers all over the world. Thank you to every one of our affiliates for helping us grow as a business.
However, with the number of affiliates constantly growing and the amount of resources for managing these affiliates growing as well, the Themify team has decided to create a small change in the way the Affiliate Program works in order to improve the speed and quality of processing rewards for affiliates.
Starting Feburary 1, 2015, the Themify Affiliate Program will require a $50 minimum payout for all affiliates, meaning that you will not receive a payment from Themify until you hit the $50 mark in earnings. Your amount will carry over from month to month, and the payment will be processed on the last day of the month if it hits $50 minimum. There is a 30-day delay payout to encounter refunds and chargebacks. This small change will allow us to greatly reduce the number of payments required every month, allowing us to pay our affiliates quicker and on time.

In an effort to make the Themify Builder simpler to use, we've decided to deprecate the following custom post types that originally registered with the Builder: Slide, Highlight, Portfolio, and Testimonial. Our finding shows that those custom post types have been causing a lot of confusion for new users, as they don't know how to add posts for those post types. Some users also complained that those custom post types add unnecessary menus on their WordPress Dashboard. Thus we've deprecated them in Themify framework 2.1.2 the Builder Plugin 1.3.1.

We're cooking up a new theme that'll help you design awesome landing pages with the drag & drop Builder. It's still in the works but we wanted to give you a sneak-peak of the theme design.
